Some exciting news…

Refugees Welcome North Somerset have some VERY exciting news. We have just picked up the keys to our very first premises in Weston Super Mare!

This is a huge step and big thanks to North Somerset Council for the support. We’ll be able to widen our reach and activities, and try to better meet the growing needs for refugees, asylum seekers and other displaced individuals in North Somerset.

The space is literally just a space at the moment and there’s lots to do. There’s a painting party coming up for anyone willing to help spruce it up a bit. It’s also a chance for friends and volunteers to share ideas and advice on how the space can be used.

Volunteers and friends old and new, please join us from 10am-1pm on Saturday 1st April. If you have rollers, paintbrushes, dust sheets, screwdrivers, spirit levels etc please bring them along.
