We continue to support those at risk of homelessness, and we will explore all options. But we need your help to be able to continue to provide emergency accommodation while action plans are put in place.
In the 7 years we have been responding to need, it has never felt quite so urgent and so local.
People housed in temporary accommodation in North Somerset are starting to receive positive decisions on their asylum claims, and have the right to live and work in the UK. This should come as a relief. However, this comes with notice to leave their accommodation.
Can you help?
The needs of refugees, asylum seekers and other displaced people in North Somerset are only growing. As a charity we are also expanding in order to better support the people we serve. We have two new projects that will be running from the Welcome Centre in Weston Super Mare.
Free yoga classes for women at the Welcome Centre (12 Waterloo Street, Weston Super Mare, BS23 1LG)
Starting 18th July, 5pm-6pm for 12 weeks.
